Newborn of the Day: Simba!

Just kidding — it’s one of two endangered Amur tiger cubs born at the Minnesota Zoo on June 17.

While the smaller of the two passed away (one-third don’t survive the first 30 days of life), this little guy is being raised by handlers because mom wasn’t displaying the quality of maternal care required to raise the cub.
